Acaban de publicarnos un artículo en la revista Land, revista indexada en el JCR. En este caso se ha realizado la influencia mutua del paisaje y la gestión de los puertos deportivos. El trabajo se enmarca dentro del proyecto de investigación HYDELIFE que dirijo como investigador principal en la Universitat Politècnica de València.
Los puertos deportivos son elementos marítimos relacionados con el turismo náutico. La contemplación de un entorno agradable adquiere gran importancia en la consecución de este carácter de ocio. El Convenio Europeo del Paisaje asume la necesidad de integrar el paisaje en las políticas de planificación. Así, los procesos de toma de decisiones de gestión del puerto deportivo deberían reflejar esta conciencia del paisaje. Sin embargo, la evaluación del paisaje no se ha considerado adecuadamente a pesar de su importancia. Esta investigación intenta introducir un marco inicial para evaluar esta influencia, destacando los puntos fuertes y débiles de los diferentes temas. Para ello, se valoraron los elementos más significativos de la gestión del puerto deportivo relacionados con el paisaje, tanto desde la perspectiva de la gestión como del paisaje. Se utilizaron dos paneles de expertos de España: 23 expertos evaluaron los elementos mencionados siguiendo el método Delphi, y 17 ponderaron las principales actividades de gestión utilizando el DHP. Los resultados muestran que existe una falta de preocupación por el paisaje. Los gestores tienden a considerar las condiciones físicas, mientras que las subjetivas quedan relegadas a un segundo plano. En este sentido, esta metodología constituye la primera etapa de la relación paisaje/gestión, ayudando a los gestores a identificar los principales temas y a priorizar las acciones relacionadas.
Abstract:
Marinas are maritime features related to nautical tourism. The contemplation of pleasant surroundings acquires great importance in achieving this leisure character. The European Landscape Convention undertakes the necessity of integrating landscape into the planning policies. Thus, the marina’s management decision-making processes should reflect this awareness of the landscape. However, the landscape evaluation has not been appropriately considered despite its importance. This research attempts to introduce an initial framework to evaluate this influence, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the different subjects. For this purpose, the most significant elements of the marina management related to the landscape were rated, both from management and landscape perspectives. Two expert panels from Spain were used: 23 experts evaluated the above elements following the Delphi method, and 17 weighted the main management activities using DHP. Results show that there is a lack of concern for the landscape. Managers tend to consider physical conditions, whereas subjective conditions are relegated to the background. In this respect, this methodology provides the first stage for the landscape/management relationship, helping managers identify the main topics and prioritize related actions.
